The seventh Women for Women Cycle India Event took place between November 2007 and February 2008. Two hundred and twenty women travelled to India in three groups to take up a very special challenge, to Cycle India; the seventh Women for Women cycle ride to raise funds to support medical research at the Wolfson and Western Research Centre for Family Health Imperial College London.

Funds raised by Women for Women Cycle India will train women scientists and clinicians to specialise in the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of a range of devastating conditions such as brain injury, genetic disease, miscarriage, infertility and cancer. The fundamental aim is to improve women’s ongoing good health throughout their lives and to ensure that more women have a healthy pregnancy and baby.

Cycle India has raised over £400,000 for Women for Women.
